Straight-Shootin’ Dude: Reunite with Quality Relationships
I’m not a mass-produced eligible bachelor, habitually satisfied by watching junk tv alone instead of living it up with friends. I’d wager people have never pegged me to write a talk much about great dating and compatibility. Not a fan of the drama.
Dependence is an unfortunate quality and entirely neglected in my man programming (man-gramming?). Let me go on, I’ll level with you, I had to escape from a 3-year relationship which meant a lot for us but essentially wasn’t meant to be. So you would go on record saying its been a while since I was dating. I don’t hold the dating with great expectations I once did.
Single life has had its perks so far. This much is certain, I don’t know how to sit tight, peacefully watching Star Trek Enterprise episodes off the torrents. The primary factor behind this spell of weekend dating loneliness? My coworkers are stiffs, and everyone else is boring.
My one-time college pal, Andrew, who will never have dating lameness, told me he’s almost in the same boat. He showed me these Great Expectations Reviews. Not usually my thing, but I take to mingling among quality ladies who meet my values. So I bit the bullet and became a member.
Be honest, there ain’t room to grovel about being alone when you haven’t even put yourself into the game. As my old basketball coach Paul Neelon snuck into conversation as his idea of encouragement, “You’ll never win a race you don’t run, sonny.”
Sheer genius, right? But, the man was a source of truth without being self-righteous. He meant well to everyone. This fantastic series of Dallas singles events I just went to might have done a number on the old man’s brain.
Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I mingled with a ton of substantive and desirable women that meet my expectations. I actually had a blast with dozens of terrific enjoyable singles. Went home with an exchange of digits, and as a plus, I developed some political relationships for my job. Success.
Take action. Can’t be happy if you sit the bench. Take it from me, believe in your own great expectations for life’s sake.
Frankly,
Keith
